UPSC Combined Medical Services (CMS) Exam Details for Jobs Seekers in India
Combined Medical Services Examination is also known as UPSC CMS Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission every year for governing bodies of Indian Ordinance Factory Health Service, Junior Scale officer Posts in Central Health Services, Assistant Divisional Medical Officers in Indian Railways, Medical Officers in Municipal Corporation Delhi and general duty medical officers in Delhi. UPSC CMS Exam notification will be released on March every year and exam will be in June month every year. The Combined Medical Services Examination is completely online test.
What are the Eligibility Criteria for Combined Medical Services (CMS)?
Nationality:
Citizen of India, Subject of Nepal/Bhutan, a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and some Tibetan refugees or East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Limits for Combined Medical Services (CMS):
The Upper age limit is 32 years. Age relaxation available for SC/ST, OBC candidates.
CMS Educational Qualification:
Those who are completes MBBS exam written and practical parts before the interview they are all eligible to write the exam.
Examination Pattern of CMS exam:
The Combined Medical Service Examination is completely objective type. The CMS exam consist of two papers with each two hours duration, carrying each 200 marks. There is a negative mark for each wrong answer is 1/3 mark. Those who are qualified in this examination will be called for personality test carrying 100 marks.

Personality Test:
Interview for personality test intended to know the general knowledge and ability of the candidates, in their respective fields of academic study and nature of the personality test. To know the candidate critical powers of adaptation, intellectual curiosity, ability for social cohesion, balance of judgment and alertness of mind, integrity, character, initiative and leadership qualities for Combined Medical Services Examination. The selected candidates will be posted in any one Medical service of the Government of India based his/her specialization and available vacancies. There is a negative mark for each wrong answer is 1/3 mark.
